Once applicants have been accepted to the program,
a nominal program fee of US$140 is due.
The Fee covers:
Pre-selection
orientation and interview
Roundtrip airfare
from London to New York
One camp placement
offer, including room & board for the duration of the camp session
J-1 visa documentation
Transportation
from the airport to the hotel in New York, and from the hotel to Camp
Arrival orientation
and one night hotel accommodation in the New York area
Orientation
at the camp
Program supervision
Once a camp placement has been found, the required medical insurance fee of
$135 is due. The insurance fee is non-refundable. Applicants are responsible
for any expenses incurred in connection with the home country orientation
and interview. Applicants are also responsible for their own transport back
to New York for their return flight.
Camp USA Counselor Payments: Counselors receive a payment upon their
successful completion of their stay on Camp. This payment increases according
to their age and there are also additional payments for counselors returning
to camp for a second or third time. table

Pre-Placed Applicants: Camp USA also works with pre-placed applicants.
A pre-placed applicant is someone who has found a position on their own. The
travel arrangements and counsellor stipend are negotiated directly with the
